Today I bought a 2008 Trek Madone 5.2 Pro road bike. This is Trek’s mid-level full carbon fiber frame with Shamino Ultegra SL components. The Good Shepherd

Tonight we watched The Good Shepherd again. I wanted to watch this movie twice since it was so long (just under 3 hours) and deep enough that it warranted a closer look. This movie focuses around Edward Wilson, played by Matt Damon, and his role in the OSS and the early days of the CIA.

Bear Creek Criterium

Today was the annual Bear Creek Criterium. This is a short 0.8 mile flat loop through the middle of a heavily forested park. The course is non-technical, with really only one corner that requires any skill and the rest being wide open. I entered and raced, in what was my very first cycling event, as
